Let's explore all things that are fun to squish, squeeze and shape. This month, we're cracking dinosaur eggs for half an hour of fun sensory activities.

Join us for a two-hour session of open play chess. All skill levels are welcome to play. There will be no formal instruction given, but Mr. Steve will be on hand to answer any chess related questions.

Calling all Afternoon Artists! Every month, we will feature a special artist to learn their techniques to create unique art of our own.

Grades K-3

An all-ages, lively storytime featuring books, music, movement and more! For families with children ages birth to six.

Master Gardener Cynthia Cieckiewicz from the University of Illinois Extension will show an easy method of seed starting.

Get together to meet other home-schooling families in the community, learn about how the Library can support you, and do some fun activities.

Drop by after school on the first and third Fridays of the month to enjoy some relaxing and creative time with your friends. All instructions and supplies are provided by the Library. No registration required.

Looking for a fun and rewarding way to help out your community? Work together and give back by joining the Library's Crafting for a Cause Program! This program is open to high schoolers.

Enjoy some family bonding time with a yoga flow, partner poses, games, mindfulness moments, and a craft. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel or yoga mat.

Best suited for ages 3–8, but all are welcome. 

Registration will open for CSPL cardholders ages 16+ on January 2nd.

Carol Streamers, get ready to rock! Professional musician and instructor Michael Twietmeyer will be setting up shop to teach the fundamentals of music.

Get moving at this hour-long, high-intensity cardio workout. Expect a fast-paced session that gets your heart rate up and energy levels soaring. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Adults and high schoolers are welcome to join us for short and simple learning activities led by CSPL Librarians Crystal and Jessica to brush up on common Spanish vocabulary.
