In celebration of African American History Month, we will welcome Chicago author Michael Haupt who will take us back in time to learn about how two African American auto mechanics followed their passion for aviation.

Join us for a live storytime to dance, sing, read and play. 

This is the monthly meeting of the Library Board of Trustees. The public is welcome to attend.

An all-ages, lively storytime featuring books, music, movement and more! For families with children ages birth to six.

An interactive storytime that pairs books with movement and mindfulness. Practice yoga poses, play with active songs, and pause for focus and relaxation. For ages 3-6, with caregiver. 

Drop by after school on the first and third Fridays of the month to enjoy some relaxing and creative time with your friends. All instructions and supplies are provided by the Library. No registration required.

Relax with coffee, donuts and a game! We will be playing Harmonies in January and February. There will be a variety of board games on hand from classics to newest favorites. Instruction, games and snacks will be provided.

If you are a small business owner residing in Carol Stream, learn about all the free resources available digitally with a free business account at the Library. From mailing lists to trade journal articles and more.

“Play is the work of childhood.” Join us for playful learning stations to explore body science in a tactile, fun way! For ages 2-6, with caregiver.

Adults and high schoolers are welcome to join us for short and simple learning activities led by CSPL Librarians Crystal and Jessica to brush up on common Spanish vocabulary.

Got boogie fever? Want to shake a tail feather? Students will learn dance fundamentals, work on their musicality and rhythm, and use their imagination through creative movement with an instructor from Flourish Dance Academy.

The College of DuPage Great Read Series book choice for 2025-2026 is Foul Lady Fortune by Chloe Gong.

Join the Smart Cookies book club this month to read Bud, Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis.
