“Play is the work of childhood.” Join us for playful learning stations to explore space in a tactile, fun way! For ages 2-6, with caregiver.

Got boogie fever? Want to shake a tail feather? Students will learn dance fundamentals, work on their musicality and rhythm, and use their imagination through creative movement with an instructor from Flourish Dance Academy.

Visit with the Friends of the Carol Stream Public Library and discover how you can become a contributing member. The Friends will greet patrons in the Library’s lobby before the Friends-sponsored cooking program with Chef Susan Maddox.

A dance-fitness class that combines cardio with resistance training to tone and sculpt muscles, using 1 lb toning sticks to help you focus on specific muscle groups. 

Get together to meet other home-schooling families in the community, learn about how the Library can support you, and do some fun activities. In May, we will have fun with STEM games and activities!

Drop by after school on the first and third Fridays of the month to enjoy some relaxing and creative time with your friends. All instructions and supplies are provided by the Library. No registration required.

Looking for a fun and rewarding way to help out your community? Work together and give back by joining the Carol Stream Public Library Crafting for a Cause Program! This program is open to teens (9th grade - 12th grade).

Enjoy some family bonding time with activities such as storybook yoga, partner poses, games, breathing exercises, or mindful crafts. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel or yoga mat.
