We will be sharing wonderful stories, songs and rhymes for our smallest friends. Stay to play and socialize and to connect with other caregivers. For families with children under age two.

The Create & Learn Center in the Library will be available as a study space for high school students during Glenbard North Finals Week, Monday through Thursday, from 4-8 p.m. each day.

From the windows on State Street to the Sears Wish Book, Chicago has been all about the holidays since the beginning. Please join historian and entertainer Clarence Goodman as he highlights Chicago’s holiday traditions.

Got boogie fever? Want to shake a tail feather? Students will learn dance fundamentals, work on their musicality and rhythm, and use their imagination through creative movement with an instructor from Flourish Dance Academy.

Drop-in and meet your local social worker and connect with services that meet your needs. Learn what is available to residents.

This is the monthly meeting of the Library Board of Trustees. The public is welcome to attend.

An all-ages, lively storytime featuring books, music, movement and more! For families with children ages birth to six.

Calling all Page Turners, Smart Cookie and One More Chapter participants. This party is for you. Join Mr. Steve and Ms. Sam for a fun-filled time to celebrate the year we've had and pick up your first book for 2026.

An interactive storytime that pairs books with movement and mindfulness. Practice yoga poses, play with active songs, and pause for focus and relaxation. For ages 3-6, with caregiver. 

Drop by after school on the first and third Fridays of the month to enjoy some relaxing and creative time with your friends. All instructions and supplies are provided by the Library. No Registration required.

Relax with coffee, donuts and a game! We will be having an end of year free play day in December. There will be a variety of board games on hand from classics to newest favorites. Instruction, games and snacks will be provided. 

Bring your friends and family for a great time constructing all of your LEGO ideas. 

Registration is encouraged, not required, so drop-ins are welcome.

Is midnight way past your bedtime? Join us to ring in the New Year a little early. We'll make a craft, listen to a story or two, and then dance to some of our favorite tunes.

Get together to meet other home-schooling families in the community, learn about how the Library can support you, and do some fun activities.

Looking for a fun and rewarding way to help out your community? Work together and give back by joining the Library's Crafting for a Cause Program! This program is open to high schoolers.
