Fairy Tale Faire

All fairies, goblins, knights, princesses, dragons, and magical folk are invited for an enchanted evening. Our most beloved classic tales will come to life! Join your favorite fairy tale characters in a quest that takes you under the sea, into a dragon’s lair, and through a cave of wonders. Come dressed in your best tiaras, suit of armor, wizard robes, fairy wings, or anything that makes you feel magical!

This is a drop-in event. No registration is required. See you there!

Starry Night Party

Calling all creatures of the night! It’s time to celebrate our favorite holiday, National Library Week, with a special after-hours event. Bring the whole family to meet nocturnal animals, play games, dance under a black light, and take a picture with PJ Masks and Sleeping Beauty. Get in the mood by coming in glow-in-the-dark clothes, light-up accessories, or pajamas! As a bonus: When you check out five items during the week of April 9-13, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a basket filled with night-themed prizes for all ages.

Ask Us About the Library Renovation Project

As part of our ongoing improvement process, the Library Board of Trustees recently approved a master space plan. The space plan provides the concept for the first full renovation of the Library since its construction in 1977. Carol Stream residents are invited to learn more about the project and its funding from Library administration. We will answer questions after a short presentation. In the meantime, please visit cslibrary.org/renovation for an overview of the project.
