Amazing Magnets with the DuPage Children's Museum

The DuPage Children's Museum will be coming to CSL! Their Magnet Exploration STEM Lab will give preschoolers the opportunity to hunt for hidden treasures, feel the force of magnetism and create a "magnet" work of art!

Fancy Feet

Got boogie fever? Need to shake a tail feather? Want to cut a rug? So do we! At this dance party hosted by Millennium Dance Center, students will learn dance fundamentals, work on their musicality and rhythm, and use their imagination through creative movement. This 30 minute class is a great way for boys and girls ages 2-5 to gain exposure to dance and music, practice some basic motor skills, and have FUN! Parents must remain in the room.

Smart Cookie Book Club

Does your 3rd-5th grader love to read? love to talk about books? always looking for new books? This month each participant will be sharing about one (or more) books they've read recently and L-O-V-E-D. Come join us for snacks and great discussion!

Word Play: Barrier Games

Have you played barrier games before? In this skill-building exercise, each participant will be giving and receiving detailed instructions on game piece placement and working together to make our boards look the same. Come join the fun!

Saturday Stories

Children five and under with their parents enjoy short stories, rhymes and songs. Come for stories and stay for Preschool Playdate immediately following. No registration required.

PAWS for Reading

Research shows that kids who read to certified, reading therapy dogs improve their oral reading fluency and their reading confidence. Sign up for a 15-minute time slot to read one-on-one to a special canine companion. Space is limited and parental permission is required. Register at the Youth Services desk.

Twilight Tales

Bring the whole family for story time. Stories will be aimed at preschoolers, but all ages are welcome with an accompanying adult.
