There are many varieties of native shrubs that, while adding beauty to our gardens, benefit our ecosystem, especially birds and pollinators. This presentation will discuss the advantages of planting natives and why they’ll make your garden a livelier, more beautiful place.

Cake Decorating

Chef Cherise will teach you how to prep and ice a cake for a professional appearance. You will learn basic piping skills that you can apply to a variety of different baked goods, and quick decorating techniques that are sure to impress. Freshly baked cake and creamy buttercream icing will be shared.

Last Wednesday Film Club: Won't You Be My Neighbor

Movies will be shown with closed captioning. The Library will provide snacks and drinks. The movie for this month is "Won't You Be My Neighbor." Plot: "An exploration of the life, lessons, and legacy of iconic children's television host, Fred Rogers" ( Rated PG-13, 1h 34min.

Microsoft PowerPoint 101

When making a presentation, PowerPoint is often considered the premiere software to pull it off. In this fun hands-on class, patrons will learn how to make new slides, choose a slide theme, enter text, insert photos, and more. Bring a flash drive and be able to save the work you have done. Keyboard and mouse proficiency preferred.

Wills, Trusts. and Long-term Care

Law Office Jon Pankau will discuss the essential documents of an estate plan: wills, powers of attorney and trusts. They will also discuss how to plan for long-term care alternatives including but not limited to long term care insurance.

Belynda Head will lead you step-by-step through some of her favorite line dances. No experience or partner necessary. Please wear smooth-soled shoes and get ready for a fun workout!
