In this class, you will learn how to format a document, use grammar check, save a document, and more. Keyboard and mouse experience preferred.

Registration is required and is only for Carol Stream Library cardholders. For ages 16 and up.

50 States Book Club: NEBRASKA "Eleanor and Park" by Rainbow Rowell

New members are invited to join us for a celebration of the cornhusker state- Nebraska. We will be discussing "Eleanor and Park" by author Rainbow Rowell and enjoying Nebraska-themed snacks provided by the Library. Ask for a copy of the book at the Reference Desk.

Free Comic Book Day

Drop by the Library and pick out a comic book to keep, absolutely free. This is an internationally-celebrated day hosted by libraries and comic book shops, created to spread the word about the original American art form of comic books. Since 2002, readers have received millions of free comic books on this holiday.

DuPage Organic Garden Club (Community Group)

Since 1971, this club has been teaching members about building soil quality and taking care of garden pests naturally. A well-run ecological garden attracts birds and beneficial insects that help keep pests to a minimum and pollinate the plants. The programs are hosted by the DuPage Organic Garden Club and the Carol Stream Public Library.

Doors will open at 6:30p for Garden Club members to mingle. All are welcome.

Got an iMac or Macbook but are not sure how it works? Very Smart People will stop by the library to give a presentation all about how this popular operating system works to get you both familiarized and confident with your device.

Fourth Wednesday Film Club: Wonder

Movies will be shown in closed captioning for the hearing impaired. The Library will provide coffee and themed snacks to enjoy during the movie. Feel free to mingle with your neighbors and chat after the screening.

This month's movie will be the 2017 movie "Wonder" by Stephen Chbosky (rated PG, 1 hour and 53 minutes). Plot: "Based on the New York Times bestseller, WONDER tells the incredibly inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman, a boy with facial differences who enters fifth grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time."
