As the Library enters an important time of growth and expansion, the Friends will play a vital role in reaching out to the Community in support of the Library.  Current activities include sponsoring the perpetual book sale.  Located in the Library lobby, browsers can find a wide variety of books for children and adults.  All funds collected by the Friends are used to benefit the Library.

What Do The Friends Do?

  • The Friends is a non-profit organization which provides support for the Library through membership fees, fund-raising events, and special projects.

  • They create community support for existing Library programs.

  • They provide direct financial help and volunteer assistance.

  • They sponsor programs designed to add to the cultural life of the community.

  • They encourage gifts, memorials, and endowments.

Being a Friend gives one the chance to contribute to the growth and well-being of our community and to share experiences with others who value the Library's contributions to out lives.
